It all started with a mandatory Drama Parent Meeting. I was unable to attend the first meeting for Advanced Drama, which the Big Guy is currently a member of. The Bald Avenger willingly went in my place. While there, he volunteered us for nearly every event, bake sale, conference, rehearsal and show.

He's on meeting restriction.

I rather like the idea of photographing their events instead. For instance, isn't Ashley gorgeous? She's a Thespian officer and has a killer smile.


For the first fundraiser, we showed up after eating pizza, ready to consume some Baskin Robbins ice cream.

The flowers above and below are planted in raised beds all around the strip mall where BR is located.

I had my camera so...
...I practiced taking pictures in different natural lighting.

I could do this all day.
This is not me. I had a strawberry shake. Colette, on the other hand, had a double-scoop with chocolate.

A little while later, Marshall arrived with his mom. They were quite excited and Marshall was clearly ready for his close-up.

This boy gave me the stank-eye every time he caught me focusing on him.

I've got some shots of the Butter, but I am still trying to remove the weird from them. The boy has become a bit eclectic as he's gotten older. Those are his feet at the top of the page, though.

I took the above shot simply because I was fascinated by the lines and the textures of the table, bench and columns. By manipulating the color through Cross Process, the colors on the wall popped.

Awesome people, amazing color and good times. I think I might like spending all my free time with these folks.
